Dog Walker in Colne & surrounding areas
A bit about myself, my background is in childcare and I have worked as an early years practitioner for over 15 years. They say never work with children or animals but I couldn't think of anything better! As dog owners yourselves you will notice the similarities in looking after a child and a dog, they both require lots of love and attention and their needs come first as they can't look after themselves.
After an extended maternity leave I was left wondering what to do next, I decided to use my love for dogs as a career. I have always found great pleasure being with dogs and I walk my own dog for hours every day so I decided to combine the two and this is how Fetch! was created just over 3 years ago. I have had years of experience with looking after dogs and I know what a responsibility it is to look after your precious pups and I don't take it lightly. l care for them as if they were my own.
When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and care that your dogs can demand. With years of happy owners and loved dogs, you can rely on me to care for your dogs when you can't.
Walks will vary in type and will depend on your dogs needs. I keep the groups small so I can give your dog the longest walk as I can in the hour we've got. The hour does not include travel time picking dogs up. Your dog will get a full 60 min walk if not longer depending on our route and weather! We love nothing more than trekking through the fields walking on the canal or through the woods. £5 per additional dog from the same household.
Some breeds require less exercise than others, these shorter walks are ideal for them. Older dogs and puppy's benefit too. These walks allow the dogs to go at their own pace. Some love to run and play with the others, some take it easy, sniff around and explore or some of the dogs may have a good game of fetch. £4 per additional dog from the same household
Ideal for people who have to work weekends or if you're going out for the day. Do it worry free and have your dog taken out.
Do you need to go to work but you’re worried about your new puppy at home alone? Worry no more, I will visit your puppy, give them 30 mins of care and attention, toilet them and make sure they are ok for you. Once fully vaccinated they will be able to join the small group 30 min walks and enjoy fun socialisation with the older dogs. Progressing to the hour group walks when old enough.
